Divya Bendre is a sustainable finance executive with more than a decade of experience in sustainable development, responsible investment, and climate finance. Until recently, she served as Managing Director and Head of Sustainable Fixed Income for the Americas at BofA Securities, where she helped companies, banks, and governments raise capital from sustainability-focused investors. Divya’s pragmatic approach to sustainability is shaped by her work experience in energy and infrastructure project finance and emerging markets advisory across Asia and Latin America. Prior to banking, she held business development, research, and management consulting roles in Asia.

She is well-positioned to support professionals at the intersection of financial institutions, policy, and the multilateral or non-profit sectors, drawing on her own experience bridging those worlds in product development, deal-making, and multi-stakeholder coalitions. Divya holds an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Policy Studies from SOAS, University of London, and a B.Eng. (Honors) in Bioengineering from the National University of Singapore. She serves on her town’s sustainability advisory board and is a native plants enthusiast. Having grown up in Mumbai and Singapore and built a home and career in New York, she has curated a truly global network and a deep love for language, food, and culture.
