About the Event

Do you want to understand the current landscape for women’s reproductive rights?  Has this year left you motivated to do something but unclear about where you can add value?  Are you currently working on behalf of reproductive justice and interested in understanding current trends in the funder community?

We have witnessed a floodgate of attacks on women’s reproductive rights in the United States and globally over the last year. At How Women Lead, we are clear that reproductive health and justice are the cornerstones of women’s socioeconomic well-being, health, and survival.  For many of us, the quick changes in the landscape have been difficult to track and have left us confused on how to best help. Join the discussion with practitioners and funders. Meet  thought-leaders and practitioners working on these issues and leave with information, guidance and next steps.

The event will feature:

  • Landscape Overview & Practitioner Panel: Changing legislation, shifts in access and strategies
  • Funder Overview: Direction of funding, larger systems change and advocacy
  • More information on how to take action individually and collectively

Kwajelyn Jackson, Feminist Women’s Health Center
