About the Event
Build your skills in the boardroom and join our board training series! Each session will focus on a different aspect of board leadership and will equip you with the skills needed to step into the boardroom with confidence. Learn from current board and industry leaders what the current topics are, what questions are being asked in the boardroom, and how to ensure you are prepared to be a leader in the boardroom.
Nominating and Governance committees play an important role in identifying individuals qualified to be board members, selecting/recommending board members to shareholders and developing a set of corporate guidelines for the board. Corporate guidelines are under increasing scrutiny as a result of a focus on ESG, diversity of the company employees at all levels and more recently, lawsuits to hold boards accountable for diversity at the board level. Explore the role of the Nominating and Governance committee with Nom & Gov Committee Chairs, how to be effective as a member and/or chair of the committee, topics discussed and the various stakeholders who are holding the Nominating and Governance accountable.
This session will occur twice: Both dates will offer the same content. The dates are March 30th and Nov 16th. Please select which date you would like by selecting the multiple dates option above. Additionally, Tickets can be purchased for the full series at a discount below.
