About the Event

As climate change and related business innovations enter a more urgent phase, we need more women to take charge.

Women disproportionately suffer the impacts of climate change; according to a UNDP report, 80% of people displaced by the climate crises are women. But major climate negotiations are overwhelmingly conducted by men, far removed from the lived experience of people directly affected by the devastating impacts of climate change.

Similarly, we know that women in leadership and on boards are more likely to improve transparency around carbon emissions. Yet, only 15% of VC funding in CleanTech goes to women.

To meet this challenge head-on, we have gathered bold women committed to taking action against the climate crisis who have leveraged their investments to affect positive change for women and the environment.

Become part of the solution. In this event, you will learn:

How women can create change in CleanTech investing

Why it’s crucial for women to be part of the solutions addressing climate change

Steps you can take to become a changemaker yourself

The difference between CleanTech, ClimateTech, and CleanEnergy

Join the movement to change both the venture capital and the physical landscape. Start by registering and saving your seat for November 2.
