How Women Lead was instrumental in engineering support for the paradigm-shifting legislation (California SB-826 and AB-979) requiring parity in women and minority representation on corporate boards.
The next game-changer was making venture investing accessible to women investors by reducing minimum investment amounts and providing early-stage capital for women founders.
The How Women Invest Fund I leverages the How Women Network — entrepreneurs, technologists, industry experts, venture capitalists, investment bankers, and lawyers — for robust deal flow, rigorous due diligence, operational support, and strategic and compassionate board support.
