Sandy Ono is a business transformation leader with more than 20 years of experience across global high-technology businesses and deep expertise spanning strategy, go-to-market execution, and enterprise operations. She is a passionate and innovative executive with a focus on shaping strategy, driving growth, and delivering results.


Sandy has a proven track record of managing complex, multi-billion-dollar operations, building and leading high-performing teams at scale, and advancing strong financial outcomes. She has led organizations ranging from 250 to 850 employees across companies including OpenText ($6B Software), HPE ($27B Hardware), and Deloitte Consulting ($70B Services). At OpenText, she managed go-to-market across 10 business units that spanned Enterprise, SMB, and Consumer segments. At both HPE and OpenText, she managed global budgets of over $500M and operations across 100+ countries. Sandy focuses on customer centricity, commercial truth, and accountability.


A driver of results, Sandy has led multiple turnaround and scale initiatives. At OpenText, she transformed the marketing function, grew pipeline contribution from ~$400M to ~$1B per quarter, and delivered 20% improvement with 10-15% cost discipline. At HPE, she expanded B2B eCommerce from ~$600M to ~$2B, and launched new B2C revenue streams from zero to $20M. Sandy also led Global Ecosystems at OpenText, managing sales execution with ~$600M in quota and ~$1B in recurring revenue. Her experience in partner-led growth included scaling alliance partnerships, initiating OEM motions, and negotiating complex agreements to protect margins and accelerate market impact.


Sandy is an inspirational leader and communicator, widely recognized for shaping company positioning, executive narratives, and thought leadership across AI, information management, and enterprise technology. She served as the public face of OpenText as Chief Marketing Officer, modernizing the brand with 23,000 employees, engaging with the Board of Directors, energizing senior leaders, and representing the organization to customers, partners, analysts, and media.


Prior to OpenText and HPE, Sandy spent 12 years at Deloitte Consulting in the Strategy & Operations practice focused on customer and market strategy.  Sandy has her bachelor’s degree in business administration and rhetoric from UC Berkeley, and her MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
