Kimberley Goode is an accomplished corporate executive and board director with experience in a variety of industries.
She currently serves as a senior advisor at BMO, which provides personal and commercial banking, global markets and investment banking services to 13 million customers as a Top 10 bank in North America. Previously she was BMO’s chief communications and social impact officer and led communications, government affairs and social impact for the largest acquisition in Canadian banking history.
Prior to joining BMO, Kimberley served in leadership roles for a number of large industry leading companies including American Express, Prudential Financial, Kellogg Company, Northwestern Mutual and Blue Shield of California. She has led large teams that shaped transformative communication strategies to lead organizations through global mergers, acquisitions, market growth, culture building and crisis management. She has also been a champion of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout her career. As a corporate executive, she has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Women. and among the Top 100 Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America by Savoy magazine and as an Outstanding Woman in Marketing and Communications by Ebony magazine.
Outside of the C-suite, Kimberley has also been a committed and congenial board member who is drawn to organizations in the midst of transformations and navigating competing stakeholder interests. She also served as chief governance officer for a national non-profit. Her areas of expertise are in brand, reputation, culture, performance excellence and stakeholder management. Kimberley earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and has been recognized for her distinguished career with installation in the Hall of Achievement for her alma mater, the Medill School of Journalism and in the halls of fame for PR Week and Ragan Communications, two of the industry’s highest honors.
She enjoys life with her spouse and fellow Northwestern University Wildcat Andre Goode, splitting their time in Chicago and the Bay Area. They are the proud parents of three.
