From 2006 - 2018, Joanne served on the executive coaching faculty for the annual Global Institute for Leadership Development (GILD), geared toward Fortune 1000 and not-for-profit leaders and their teams, and as a learning team leader for the annual Women in Leadership (WIL) Institute. Both produced by what was then Linkage, Inc., a Boston-based leadership training and development company and now a division of SHRM. From 2007-2014, she facilitated a monthly CEO business advisory roundtable for a SF Bay Area Chapter of the Women Presidents’ Organization, a membership organization for women CEO’s and/or owners of second-stage entrepreneurial companies (revenues of $2-50M).

Her current and past clients include Intuitive Surgical, Intel, Pacific Gas & Electric, Interana, Informatica, Map-R Technologies, Splunk, Pacific Northwest National Laboratories, PCL Construction, Spirit AeroSystems, GMO Asset Management and both the New York (HANYS) and Vermont Associations of Hospitals. Her past clients through her affiliation with CoachSource included Juniper Networks, Align Technology and Cadence Design Systems.

Joanne’s background in business is distinguished by 17+ years of great success selling in the information technology industry with Amdahl Corporation (now Fujitsu Computer Systems), Honeywell Information Systems and Burroughs Corporation (now Unisys). In her last ten years with Amdahl, selling in the IBM plug-compatible mainframe computer and peripherals market, she was a consistent Summit Award winner for exceeding quota by 200+%. In her last year, she was rated #2 in the country with over $30M in sales. As a top performer in this extremely fast-paced, competitive environment, she learned and integrated into practice the principles, dynamics and skills of developing long-term customer relationships built on trust and delivering consistent results, while inspiring an environment of optimal creativity and collaborative teamwork to make it happen - all which intrinsically informs her coaching approach.

Joanne holds a BS in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. Her certifications include Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF), Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with the Coaches Training Institute, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) qualified, Integrative Enneagram Accreditation, Birkman Method Certification and Spiral Dynamics/Integral Certification.

Joanne’s personal interests include listening to and compiling music of all genres from all cultures, adventure travel, time in nature, hiking, swimming, dancing, reading and formerly an avid skier and class 4-5 white water river runner.  She is highly engaged in the societal and environmental issues globally of our time and is dedicated to life-long personal and spiritual learning and growth.
