Courtney Kline

About
Me.

Courtney Kline is a coalition builder, impact investor, and gender equity advocate mobilizing financial, philanthropic, and social capital to expand opportunity and access. As the founder of 3 Futures Fund, she deploys blended finance to back women leaders, founders, and previously underserved markets—making investing itself a feminist act.

With more than 15 years of experience working alongside leading NGOs, Courtney brings a rare ability to bridge philanthropy and finance, aligning capital with purpose to build scalable, fundable solutions. Her work is rooted in advancing financial feminism—empowering women to recognize, access, and exercise their individual and collective economic power to influence how capital flows and how power is ultimately wielded across both nonprofit and market-based systems.

Courtney plays an active role across a range of national and global organizations. She serves on the board of Planned Parenthood Great Plains, is a member of Portfolia, Women Moving Millions, Impact InvestHer, and Barcelona Social Venture Circle, and advises The Founder Leadership Research Lab at Oxford University and The Asia Foundation. She is also proud to support the International Rescue Committee, MSI Choices, and the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women.

Prior to her work in investing and philanthropy, Courtney built a career in media and science communication, translating complex ideas for broad audiences. She began as a docent at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City before producing medical and science-focused programming for NBCUniversal, PBS-NOVA, and HealthiNation. This foundation continues to inform her ability to synthesize complex systems and communicate ideas that inspire

action.

Courtney holds an individualized degree in science media and digital communication from NYU’s Gallatin School. She lives in Barcelona with her husband and three children.
