The New Table: Seizing our Collective Power in Venture, Hosted by Preethy Padmanabhan

Dear All,

It is my pleasure to host you at our home and inspire you to join the New Table movement of 10,000 women investing in venture.  You’ll hear from Venture Capitalists and learn what female investment has allowed companies to do.

Women have more education, start 40% of businesses, and by 2030 are expected to control $30 trillion of US wealth. Yet :

• Only 1.9% of venture funding goes to women-led companies.
• Only 14% of corporate board seats are held by women.
• Only 1.4% of wealth is managed by women or people of color combined.

I’m so excited to be holding a New Table Gathering in partnership with How Women Lead. We are bringing together some of the top women to discuss how to seize our collective power in venture. I’m so tired of waiting, I decided we had better just build our own table and I want to invite you in. This is our chance to leverage our collective influence to make a difference.
