Victoria Hodgkins

About
Me.

Victoria’s expertise in transformative change and growth strategies, including global expansion and go-to-market, culminated in her most recent role as CEO at PeopleKeep. She brings this experience to boards, especially for B2B SaaS companies, who want to improve culture, foster change and drive growth. With her financial acumen and experience in defining and negotiating c-level compensation and company-wide compensation frameworks, Victoria is well positioned to advise on these topics and/or serve on compensation or audit committees.

Executive leadership: Starting after an abrupt CEO exit, Victoria led PeopleKeep through significant organizational change, including restructuring the entire product and engineering function, grew the business 35% annually over five years, achieved profitability, and negotiated a successful exit to a strategic player in the market, Remodel Health.

M&A experience: Victoria led PeopleKeep’s merger with Remodel Health, working closely with PeopleKeep’s board, outside counsel, and Remodel Health’s leadership to structure a successful part cash/part equity reverse triangular merger at a 4X valuation.

Segment and sector breadth: Over her 30-year career, Victoria has worked in businesses of all sizes from global leaders like GE and Wolters Kluwer to midsized BambooHR to venture-backed, early-stage companies like PeopleKeep. In addition, her customer segment expertise spans from enterprise clients to SMBs with fewer than 50 employees.

Sustainable growth orientation: Under her leadership, the marketing teams at Wolter Kluwer’s  UpToDate business unit and BambooHR achieved outsized results. At BambooHR, as the business’ first CMO, Victoria lifted the marketing function from good to great, overseeing a 2x increase in marketing leads and team members and 3x increase in budget to $25M over 18 months to help achieve a 45% topline growth rate. At UpToDate, Victoria’s team managed a $64M P&L for the ambulatory sector and improved CAC by 34% over two years by shifting the marketing mix and optimizing global focus to 45 countries from 60. Throughout her career, Victoria has led business development and partnerships and generally likes to employ a mix of indirect and direct channels.

Board work: Victoria currently serves as a board observer for the new Remodel Health, advising the CEO on the integration of the two organizations and outside capital investment options. Over three terms on the board of the Natural History Museum of Utah, which hosts 271K visitors per year, Victoria served on the business and finance committee.

Splitting time between Boston, MA and Park City, UT, Victoria loves spending time in the outdoors and is an accomplished Alpine and Nordic skier, having completed the 50K American Birkie race in Hayward, WI.
