Lisa Paul has over 30 years in Human Resources leadership experience in medical device, technology, services, and communications companies.


Lisa is the Chief People Officer for Natus Medical Incorporated since May 2019, and responsibilities include Human Resources, Culture and Communications.


Prior to joining Natus, Lisa was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Oclaro from 2014-2018 where she played a key role in one of the most significant corporate turnarounds ever recorded in the field of High Technology, from near bankruptcy to the best performing company in the industry.

Her responsibilities include all aspects of Global Human Resources including developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, culture, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. She works directly with the CEO, Executive Team and Board of Directors on issues related to talent, executive compensation.


Lisa’s HR experience also included roles at Flextronics where she was Vice President of Human Resources at with responsibility for the Integrated Network Solutions business group with $12B in revenue in 30 counties. She also developed the Global Talent Management function which included responsibility for Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Learning and Development, Performance Management and Talent Acquisition. Cisco Systems from 2006 to 2011 and Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle) from 2001 to 2006.


Lisa is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and served on the Board of Directors and was President of the Northern California Human Resource Association. She is on the Advisory Board for Emtrain (an online compliance, culture and enterprise training portfolio company) and an Advisor to Experiential Insights (Experiential Insight provides executive coaching to non-executives through a digital, personalized, and scalable platform). Lisa was also active as a Girl Scout leader for 12 years working with girls and young woman to develop leadership/life skills and serve the local community.
