Senior Director, Strategy, Innovation & Partnerships | Global Health Leader | Builder of Bold Collaborations

Lisa Bourget is a dynamic strategist and seasoned partnership architect with more than 25 years of cross-sector experience at the intersection of health, innovation, and global collaboration. Currently serving as Senior Director of Strategy Management and Partnerships at Duke, she leads global initiatives that scale health innovation, bridge academic and corporate ecosystems, and unlock transformative impact through high-trust partnerships.

Lisa is known for her rare ability to move seamlessly from vision to execution—matchmaking across disciplines, institutions, and continents to co-create high-impact programs and coalitions. She has led the development and implementation of partnerships with over 100 innovators in 70+ countries, helped shape Duke’s global health innovation ecosystem, and advises on initiatives ranging from AI in healthcare to inclusive entrepreneurship. She is especially committed to lifting up women-led innovation and advancing equity through local capacity-building.

Before joining Duke, Lisa held senior roles across industry—from portfolio strategy at Grifols, S.A. to consulting at Accenture and co-founding ventures in clinical research, wellness, and senior housing. She is also the co-developer of the GoGown™, a patented infection-control innovation now licensed by Medline Industries.

A proud graduate of Tufts University and The Fuqua School of Business at Duke, Lisa is an unshakable advocate for purpose-driven leadership and continuous learning. She leads diverse teams, mentors the next generation of changemakers, and serves as a board advisor and speaker on global partnerships, women in leadership, and the future of health innovation.
