Jen Traeger

Jen Traeger is a business consultant, executive coach, and board leader with over 20 years of experience advising family enterprises, founder-led companies, and multi-generational organizations through growth, transition, and complexity.

As Founder and Principal of Lakshmi Advisors LLC, Jen partners with business owners, executives, and family shareholders to strengthen strategy, leadership effectiveness, governance, and financial clarity. Her consulting work focuses on helping organizations improve decision-making, align roles and accountability, increase operational and financial visibility, and navigate the interpersonal dynamics that often accompany scale, succession, and change. She brings particular depth in working with family businesses, where ownership, relationships, and enterprise performance are closely connected.

Jen also serves as Chair of United Skates of America, the world’s largest operator of roller-skating centers, overseeing a multi-state operating company and related real estate entities. In this role, she works closely with executive leadership on strategy, risk management, and long-term growth while balancing the interests of family owners, non-family executives, and stakeholders.

In addition to her consulting work, Jen has extensive nonprofit and board leadership experience. She currently serves on the board of the Marin School of the Arts Foundation and has previously served in board and finance leadership roles with organizations including The Relational Life Foundation and Beyond Differences, supporting governance, fundraising, and organizational sustainability.

Jen holds a certificate in Leadership and Performance Coaching from Brown University and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation.
