About
Me.
As a board member for Mission Graduates, an organization supporting first generation college students on their journey, I get the opportunity to see firsthand how much education can change the trajectory of entire families. I am very passionate about supporting others in their quest for self-reliance.
I have been a Finance Professional for over 30 years. As CFO of The Masons of California, the world’s first and largest fraternity, I am responsible for the financial strategy of the six entities formed to manage the 40,000 plus members in the State of California. My responsibilities include overseeing the diverse portfolio totaling over $1Billion ensuring sound investment practices and capital preservation and finding creative solutions to navigate the complicated landscape of California property insurance on over 250 properties statewide including 3 senior living communities.
Prior to my current role, I was CFO in a prominent non-profit in San Francisco focused on ending youth homelessness where I was instrumental in the organization’s recent growth and financial stabilization.
Past positions include employment in tech startups with a focus on sustainable energy. I was part of a team that worked on the establishment of a $1B windfarm as well as an Initial Public Offering in a Solar Energy Corporation.
My background includes 15 years of public accounting in the US and Canada including PWC.
I currently sit on two non-profit boards as treasurer, and I am graduate of the Deloitte Multimarket Board readiness program. I have received my BA in Business Administration at York University in Toronto Canada and hold an active CPA license in California.
